ABOUT
This is part of a Wheatbelt series, documenting the region over 15 days on the road. Pathways to Wave Rock takes in the wildflowers, the camping, the landmark itself, and the country in between, and it was made to show a part of WA most people only ever drive through.
APPROACH
We gave the region 15 days, following the experiences as they came rather than working to a shot list. That much time on the road meant we caught the Wheatbelt across different light and seasons, from the wildflowers in bloom to the wide flat country that runs for hours.
IMPACT
The series shows there is a real trip out here, not just a road to somewhere else. The scope came from the time on the ground. Fifteen days let us cover the Wheatbelt the way a place that size actually deserves, which a day trip could never do.
Let’s create something worth watching.
