ABOUT
PARC Engineering delivers structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation work across WA's resources and energy sectors, and this photography project caught them on two projects that point the same direction: the Kemerton lithium precinct near Bunbury, and the Kwinana Waste to Energy facility, the first thermal utility-scale plant of its kind in the country. Between them, the two sites are a picture of the infrastructure WA is building next.

APPROACH
Multi-discipline contractors are hard to photograph well because the work is everywhere at once, structural steel, pipework, cabling, commissioning, so we shot for range: crews at their trades, the installed work in detail, and the scale frames that show what these facilities actually are. Both are live industrial sites with the access controls to match, and the photography worked inside them, permits and escorts included, without the images showing the effort.
IMPACT
PARC got a library that covers the spread of what they do, made for the places their photography actually works: tenders, capability statements, recruitment and the company's channels. For us it pairs with the SCEE project as proof this lane is repeatable, since photographing one contractor on complex sites might be luck, and doing it for two on three different facilities is a service.
